| Vistacom Celebrates Golden Years
ALLENTOWN, PA: Vistacom Inc, a leader in audio/visual integration and design will celebrate 50 years of continual operation in 2004.
The company was founded as the Daveland Company on October 18th, 1954 by Jack Ferlino, offering the installation of intercoms and background music systems. The company, comprised of Mr. Ferlino and six employees, operated out of a single office in downtown Allentown, Pennsylvania. Since that time, Mr. Ferlino's four children have taken over the business, and Vistacom has grown into a leading audio/visual technology solution provider throughout the east coast, making its name in the integration of visual and audio communication systems in education, medical, government and corporate environments. With a full time staff of 70 employees, Vistacom has created and established deep relationships with their clients, both locally and nationally. The company has recently expanded to an office in Washington D.C., to further develop these client relationships.
Vistacom plans to recognize its achievements with a yearlong celebration, including a client golf tournament, participation in several charitable events, finally concluding with an end of year gala.
"This is an exciting time for us," said Jim Ferlino, Vice President, Vistacom. "We are ready to take on the next fifty years!"
