ALLENTOWN, PA: Vistacom announces the first education technology event of its kind to take place in the Lehigh Valley. On April 18^th 2002, representatives from colleges and universities along the east coast will meet for a day of demonstrations and seminars offering a hands-on approach to the latest advancements in technology for the classroom.

The showcase events are scheduled throughout the day and include a distance-learning seminar with a live videoconference, and product specific demonstrations from top vendors. A panel discussion entitled "Planning for Technology" is also scheduled and will include representatives from Lehigh, Lafayette, St Joseph's University, Wharton Business School, and C.A.P.E.

"This event should be treated as an open forum where ideas, experiences, and information can be shared," stated Jim Ferlino, Vice President of Vistacom. "We want this to be advantageous for everyone involved."
